| At
Greenfields, stress is given on Reading,
Writing, Self-Help, Socialisation, Numberwork,
Cooking, and other Vocational Training.
There is no pre-requisite for a normal mainstream
child for admission. However, initial
assessment is carried out before a special
child is admitted, to enable the school
to determine the child’s ability, parents’
expectation and then formulate the programmes.
Children are taught according to ability
and age, in groups. With improvement
in their behaviour pattern they are admitted
into either the special section or mainstream
section as may be the case with their individual
aptitude.
